Zip files from excel

Is it possible to zip files from excel ? I have a project in which I send the output files generated via emails. I am able to email these from excel using the tips from this site. But the issue is that the file size is too big to be sent via email which is why I am looking for an option to compress them and then email them. I will then run the zip module before email module that I already have.

Not that I know of.

If your file is too big, you might want to look at trying to reduce it's size.
there are a number of things you can do.. check this out:

Other options:
- Split the files up and send the pieces
- create a shared drive, and save to that instead
