Named ranges

Hello
I have two named ranges, income is the named range for column A and expenses is the named range in column B. Both ranges extend from A3:A30000 and B3:B30000 this gives plenty of cells for data entry, but I need to now how I can get the formula =income-expenses to auto fill/copy down column C3:C30000 so that when data is entered in to columns A and B C auto calculates.

Named ranges

Instead of named ranges you could convert table to Data Table. When you add new data formulas will automatically adjust.

if you change the range names

if you change the range names so that you reference the entire column, you can simply enter the formula in every cell:

=income-expenses

Named ranges

Good day Nick
Not really sure of what you mean, Do I have to name all the cells in a column as the named range and not just a selection as I have. And how do I automatically get the formula to populate all the cells in a rage. Is a matter of highlighting the range and then entering the formula in the formula bar
