Need Help with a formula

HI, I have a quick question concerning combining two cells to create a new formula.

In cell E5 I have a formula: =A1+B1+C1

In cell F5 I have: -1

I am looking for a formula that would give me the formula =A1+B1+C1-1 in cell G5
